Before moving to Southlake, Texas, Amanda Foxx, her husband and son lived in Charlotte, North Carolina where she was a freelance artist painting murals, children’s furniture, faux finishes, etc. Amanda has a B.A. in Art from Belhaven College in Jackson, Mississippi where she grew up. When a friend asked her to paint a nursery, she had no idea that it would become a full-time business, but was thrilled to not have to go get a “real job”! Amanda has been a full-time decorative painter for over 12 years now with over 400 murals, faux finish projects and paintings to her credit. Most days, she can be found painting in her home studio with her son and 2 dogs supervising the project. Her painted furniture, murals, pet portraits, watercolors and other commissioned paintings can be found in private homes, businesses, schools, churches and hotels across the Southeast.
Amanda is known for her whimsical use of color and unique perspective, which can dramatically transform any residential or commercial space immediately. She has been able to incorporate her style with the existing style of the client to create wonderful works of art from standard size paintings to full wall murals. |
